About Front Street Recovery

Front Street Recovery is a coalition of 73 generational Lahaina landowners dedicated to rebuilding and revitalizing Lahaina’s historic Front Street. Formed in response to the devastating August 8, 2023, wildfire, the groups mission is to restore the cherished Lahaina community as a vibrant hub of culture, commerce, and connection.

With deep roots in Lahaina’s history and its people, we are focused on creating opportunities for families, small businesses, and local workers to thrive. Guided by respect for Lahaina’s unique heritage and a vision for a resilient future, we are working collaboratively with experts, community members, and policymakers to rebuild thoughtfully and efficiently, ensuring Front Street remains a source of pride and prosperity for generations to come.
